🌍 About the Competition

The Largest Peace Kite Competition – 2026 is a global initiative under the Fly for Peace – World Peace Movement. This unique event invites people from around the world to come together through the symbolic art of kite flying, promoting harmony, unity, and peaceful coexistence across all nations and communities.

🎯 Objective

The primary objective of this competition is to inspire individuals and communities to express messages of peace, unity, and global harmony through creative kite designs. By using the sky as a shared space, participants contribute to a powerful worldwide statement:

“Air is not for war. Air is to breathe.”

👥 Eligibility

This competition is open to:

  • Individuals
  • Groups
  • Schools and educational institutions
  • Organizations worldwide

Participation is inclusive and open to all, without any form of discrimination.

📏 Kite Dimension Criteria

To ensure fairness and consistency:

  • Kite size will be measured based on the structural frame only
  • Measurements include:
    • Height (top to bottom of the frame)
    • Width (widest horizontal span of the frame)
  • Decorative extensions such as tails, ribbons, or fabric elements will not be included in size measurements

🎨 Design & Decoration Guidelines

All kites must reflect the spirit of peace, unity, and inclusivity.

Permitted Themes

  • Universal peace and harmony
  • Unity among cultures and nations
  • Environmental sustainability and coexistence
  • Friendship, hope, and humanity

Participants are encouraged to use colors, symbols, and messages that inspire positivity and global togetherness.

Prohibited Content

To maintain neutrality and global respect, the following are strictly prohibited in any form:

  • Religious symbols of any kind
  • Names, images, or representations of civil or military leaders (past or present)
  • References to wars, conflicts, or regional disputes
  • Any imagery or messaging that promotes division or conflict
  • Words or phrases such as:
    • “War”
    • “War crimes”
    • “Human rights violations”
    • “Fundamental rights violations”
  • Any language that blames or criticizes countries, regions, or parties involved in conflicts

✅ Compliance & Review

  • All entries may be reviewed and approved by the organizing committee
  • Non-compliant entries will be disqualified
  • The decision of the organizing committee is final and binding

🏆 Judging Criteria

Kites will be evaluated based on:

  • Alignment with the theme of peace
  • Creativity and originality
  • Visual impact and craftsmanship
  • Full compliance with all competition rules

📌 General Conditions

  • All participants must uphold values of respect, dignity, and global unity
  • The organizers reserve the right to update or amend rules if necessary, while maintaining the core mission of peace promotion
