This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all payments made through the Fly for Peace – World Peace Movement website, including membership registration fees and voluntary donations. Please read this policy carefully before making any payment.

1. Membership Registration Fees

Membership fees collected through PayHere are used to support our global peace initiatives, operational activities, and events. The following refund conditions apply:

Please Note: Membership fees are generally non-refundable once the membership has been activated and onboarding contact has been made by our team. We strongly encourage you to review the membership tiers and fees before completing payment.

2. Donations

All donations made to Fly for Peace are voluntary contributions to support our peace and cultural exchange programs. Please note:

  • Donations are generally non-refundable, as they are immediately allocated to ongoing programs and initiatives.
  • If a donation was made in error (e.g., wrong amount, duplicate transaction), please contact us within 48 hours of the transaction.
  • Refunds for erroneous donations will be processed at our discretion and within 7–14 business days.
Bank Transfer Donations: Donations submitted via bank transfer and pending admin verification are held in a review state. If you wish to withdraw a pending donation before it is approved, contact us immediately and we will cancel the verification without any charge.

3. Non-Refundable Circumstances

Refunds will not be issued in the following circumstances:

  • Change of mind after a successful payment
  • Voluntary withdrawal from membership after activation
  • Failure to claim or use membership benefits within the validity period
  • Donations made intentionally and correctly processed
  • Payments disputed more than 30 days after the transaction date

4. How to Request a Refund

If you believe you are eligible for a refund, please follow these steps:

    Email us at flyforpeaceinfo@gmail.com with the subject line: "Refund Request – [Your Name]"

    Include your full name, registered email address, payment date, amount, and reason for the refund request.

    Attach any supporting documents such as a payment receipt or bank transaction screenshot.

    Our team will review your request and respond within 3 business days.
  • 5
    If approved, refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7–14 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.

5. Payment Gateway Disputes

If you believe there was an unauthorized charge on your account, you may contact PayHere directly or raise a dispute with your bank. However, we encourage you to contact us first so we can resolve the matter quickly and directly.

Chargebacks initiated without prior communication may result in your membership being suspended until the matter is resolved.

6. Currency & Processing Fees

All membership fees for Local Members are charged in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR). International membership fees are charged in US Dollars (USD). Refunds, if approved, will be processed in the original currency of the transaction. We are not responsible for any currency conversion losses or bank processing fees during the refund process.

7. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to update this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
